The NATE-Certification Advantage

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning proudly sends NATE-Certified technicians into customers’ homes across North America every day. While this notation of being Nate-Certified definitely sounds reaffirming, what does it really mean?
nate certified technicians

NATE, an abbreviation for North American Technician Excellence, is the nation’s largest non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. NATE is the certification organization that was established by and has been supported by the entire HVACR industry for nearly 20 years. However, not all technicians in the business are required to be NATE-Certified. The certification is discretionary and technicians can service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration units without the accreditation.

It’s important to Service Experts that our team is NATE-Certified to make sure we are placing the most experienced technicians into our customers’ homes. To make sure technicians meet these qualifications, the NATE-Certification exams validate real-world working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems for technicians. The assessments are knowledge-based exams that test the technician’s understanding of these guidelines.

Since Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning focuses primarily on the HVAC side of NATE-Certification, our technicians earn their designations in these areas. However, NATE assessment candidates may earn certification in multiple areas:

  • Air Conditioning
  • Air Distribution
  • Gas Heating
  • Oil Heating
  • Heat Pumps
  • Hydronic Gas (service only)
  • Hydronics Oil (service only)
  • Light Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Ground Source Heat Pump Loop Installer
  • Senior HVAC Efficiency Analyst

You can be confident that the technicians at Service Experts are highly efficient and professional and will do the job the proper way the first time. Our company has the ability and skill set to not only repair your HVAC systems, but to take the best care of your equipment. Call 623-243-4517 to have one of our NATE-Certified experts check out your HVAC system to make sure that it is prepared to keep your family comfortable all season long.
